Things You Won’t Find In MY Yard

Someday I’m going to grow a fabulous garden and have beautiful flowers growing in my yard. I don’t dare try this until EB is older and can understand why we don’t pull up mommy’s plants and flowers. But…here are a few photos of the pretty stuff growing in my parent’s yard.

Fabulous photos of your parent’s flowers.

I know your feeling about kids and picking things. My almost 5 year old will pick weeks he thinks are flowers to give me and does not think twice about grabbing flowers in our yard. We do not have many and he always eyes them. He is excited though to watch the sunflowers that he planted. This year we are hoping no bunny will eat them or hail trounce them.

i enjoy other people’s gardens but i’m NOT a gardener at all…i don’t even think i ever will be either. it’s just not something that makes my heart go flip-flop!

I love flowers. I recognize all of them except the third one down, dark purple? Is it Phlox?

I posted pics of my garden today. (my kids big and small KNOW not to bother mommy’s little babies!!)
