I’m pretty sure I’ve told y’all before how EB is fascinated with my “red toes” (red pained toenails). Everytime I’m doing the pedicure thing this kid gets MAD because I won’t paint his toenails, too. Cracked Daddy would have a coronary if I did that, but we won’t tell him about the time I painted just one little toenail of EB’s with clear polish.
Ahem.
So while EB and I were outside in the pool today, he started talking about my red toes again. And a few minutes later, he came running to me so proud to show me HIS toes. His YELLOW toes.
He dunked a piece of chalk in his pool, got it good and wet and then colored his toenails.
And then he did it with blue.

Because he will be damned if his toenails don’t have some color this summer.

lol – Laughing with you on this one!I think EB showed amazing problem solving skills. He knew what he wanted and he was very creative in his way of getting that. Very smart little guy you have there
hahahaha!!! what does he do when you put on your makeup?
Would Dad go for blue polish? My 5year old son loves to have his toes painted like Mommy & Sis. It’s not a gender thing at that age…so I have blue polish, just for him, and he think it’s the bee’s knees! My hubby indulges him, because this all-boy boy won’t want painted nails forever
tee he he
well, at least he understands the importance of summer toes…
TAF- I thought it was pretty clever, too. I know I never would have come up with that at his age.Elaine- He’s normally asleep when I do my makeup…but I do have to fight off our cat Bonnie. She has a thing for makeup sponges.Happy Campers- I’ll have to check with Cracked Daddy on that one. I don’t know why he gets all bent out of shape about it…like yours, I know EB would eventually lose the thrill for it.Misty- Ain’t that the truth? LOL!! You have to admire a man that can appreciate beauty.
OMG, how funny! There was a little boy at one of my son’s previous babysitters whose mom would often paint his toenails. It was a little weird!BTW, thanks for your support of my new bloggy adventure!
Creative kid! That reminds of the show Scrubs (ever seen it) where a woman admits to her husband that she “may have painted her son’s toes – for funsies.” Hilarious!
does he know about the *bling bling* stickers you can add to your toenails. uh oh. better watch out for that one!
Nothing with an active imagination and creativity!
I think he looks brilliant and he should get together with my 4 year old son who likes to wear my high heels! Thanks for stopping by my blog.
he is too smart! watch out!
