Today I get to play “celebrity for a day” at work. We’re shooting our newest commercial for the bookstore and we’ve been crazy busy getting things ready for that. I always feel really awkward doing these commercials…you stand around waiting for your turn, then the camera films you pretending to help a customer and then it’s over. Probably 30 seconds when it’s actually all said and done, but the “Oh my gosh, people are going to be seeing this commercial and oh my gosh what if I look like a huge dork?” thing that plays over and over in my head is not helpful. But then the commercial will air about 50 trazillion times and I’ll be sick of seeing myself and then I’ll be over it. But we get catered lunch! Sweet!

I used to do commercials all the time when I was a kid (my aunts are agents)….I used to hate the restaurant ones because we’d have to eat and eat and eat and eat. There was a year where I refused french fries because I ate so many in the commercial takes! lol
