It’s no secret that we are huge fans of great children’s books in our family, and that’s why I am excited to tell you about a great line of books that you’ll definitely want to check into to add to your child’s home library. The Secret Mountain is a company that publishes fabulous children’s books that also come with accompanying CD’s to listen to.
By far, E.B.’s favorite was A Duck In New York City, which tells the story of a little duck with big dreams of making it on Broadway. With a little help from Big Betty, the truck driver, the little duck is able to make his way to New York City and realize his dream. Of course, E.B. thought the big truck was just awesome.
From the beautiful illustrations, wonderful music by well-known artists such as Don Henley, Billy Joel, and Mary Chapan Carpenter, and excellent hardback quality, these books are a real feast for the senses and an entertaining way to get quality reading time in with your child.
