Ok, y’all. I seriously don’t know what my issue is with bumps on my eyeballs! Just this past year, I had this:
And it eventually went away.
So this past Friday I woke up to this:
Umm. Scary!
According to Dr. Google, it’s probably just a subconjunctival hemmorhage, or a broken blood vessel in the eye. It’s painless and actually starting to go away. Which is a darn good thing, because if you find yourself with this condition, I advise you NOT to google a picture of a subconjunctival hemmorhage because it will only scare the daylights out of you. Apparently, this redness can spread all the way across the eyeball. *shudder*
And so, that’s my latest installment of “I have ANOTHER bump on my eyeball”. It was also a great chance to show off my dry skin and fine lines and wrinkles. Bonus!

Eek! That happened to my son once. It went away after a few days, thankfully!

I’ve actually had the same thing happen to me a few times this year. I asked people and they said it was the same thing, broken blood vessels. A couple people have even mentioned that it can be associated with high blood pressure. Luckily, I haven’t had it happen recently. I doubt it’s an emergency but definitely something to keep an eye on. (pun intended)
